Kev manages the security research sub-team of the GitHub Security Lab team, helping make open source software more secure by creating tools, using them to search for vulnerabilities, and working with maintainers to get them fixed. He has worked in computer security since 2017, after previously working for many years as a software engineer. He is credited with finding numerous high-impact CVEs and is an expert in memory corruption exploitation.
