Shawn is a distinguished technology executive with a proven track record of scaling businesses from startup to hypergrowth. He founded and led AWS Canada, building its business and data centers to enable Canadian enterprises to transition to the cloud. His career highlights also include leading enterprise adoption for Amazon Web Services in New York and serving as chief architect for the Royal Bank of Canada. Returning to Ottawa, he established the AWS Solutions Global AI Hub and ran engineering for multiple businesses at Shopify. Currently, as the Canadian Country Manager for Pythian, Shawn helps businesses leverage data, AI, and cloud services for transformational growth.
