Shreya Singh Hernandez is a technology policy researcher and social impact strategist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, youth wellbeing, and public policy. She is a Senior Manager at Aspen Digital, a program of the Aspen Institute, where she leads national initiatives on responsible AI adoption, youth digital safety, and inclusive technology ecosystems. Her work brings together policymakers, researchers, educators, technologists, parents, and community leaders to translate emerging research into practical policy, product, and governance solutions that better serve young people. Shreya has convened cross-sector collaborations on topics including AI governance, youth online safety, algorithmic accountability, responsible technology, and the future of labor, helping bridge the gap between research, industry, and public policy. She is a frequent speaker and advisor whose work has been featured at SXSW, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting, and American Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Legislative Leadership Summit, among others. Her work was featured at organizations including the Pew Research Center, Harvard's Center for Public Leadership, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University's Massive Data Institute, and Bloomberg's City Data Alliance. She has collaborated with companies including Google, Meta, Snap, Uber, and IBM. She has also participated in international technology policy exchanges through the U.S. Department of State. Prior to Aspen Digital, Shreya held roles at the Obama Administration's White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Edelman Data & Intelligence, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she developed expertise in using data and technology to advance equity, opportunity, and public impact.
